We've updated the fee description for Donors Cover Fees on the Giving Form. The new description:

When you increase your contribution to cover fees, you're helping [Organization Name] provide a safe and secure giving experience while keeping processing and software costs low.

We've also removed the opt-out message and broken heart emoji. Thanks to everyone who submitted feedback and responded to our recent survey on Donors Cover Fees.

We've recently released a new fraud mitigation tool that has had great initial success. This new layer of protection is called a Web Application Firewall (WAF). You can think of WAF as a shield that sits between Funraise’s platform and a world full of fraudsters (or bots). The WAF has sophisticated listening capabilities that detect constantly shifting signals from HTTP traffic sources, determining the trustworthiness of the source as well as the validity of the request, and blocking them appropriately.

It is already the case that when a recurring payment fails, the donor receives an

email with a link to update their payment method. With this release, when a donor updates their payment method, the failed payment will be recharged so the donor does not miss a donation.

We're excited to announce that Funraise's new Transaction Fee feature,

Donors Cover Fees, has been activated on Giving Forms for organizations that have been opted in. This update provides an effective Funraise Platform Transaction Fee rate of 0% for qualified transactions.

In our continuing effort to improve the accessibility of Funraise’s tools, we’ve released new accessibility improvements to Campaign Sites focused on the fundraiser sign-up form.

We've added a new layer of fraud mitigation for Stripe transactions by banning IP addresses based on signals from Stripe. This new mitigation method may not be available for all payment configurations.

This update answers many requests for easier and increased editing capabilities for Campaign Sites.

The ability to edit many supporter records at once with a bulk upload

When exporting a list of Supporters, the .csv file now includes Supporter Tags.

We've added a few highly-requested data fields to the Transaction CSV export. New fields include: In-Kind Description, Dedication Type, and Dedication Message.

Two new fields have been added to the Salesforce integration: Currency and Source Amount. These fields can be mapped to Opportunities. Funraise Salesforce documentation.

Separately activate your donation notification emails and your task notification emails. This means for each Transaction, you can receive either a donation notification email or a task notification email, or both, or none!

You can now view the Funraise Platform Fee for each Transaction on the Transaction's profile. The Funraise Platform Fee amount is also available on the Transaction .csv export. Please note, this improvement does not impact Transactions created prior to this release.

You can now scroll through and manage your Transactions in a new tab in the mobile app. With this update, you can filter Transactions in the app with list rules you've built in the desktop platform.

Design Giving Pages with your logo, banner images, text, and brand color. Previously, the Facebook integration synced a Funraise fundraising page with a Facebook fundraising page. The purpose of the integration was to boost revenue for peer-to-peer campaigns.

Now, Funraise's Facebook integration can now do a few more things:

1. ANY DONATION made on your organization's Facebook page or a Facebook Fundraiser page benefiting your organization can now be synced with Funraise.

2. Donation data and donor data is now synced automatically—no more uploading donor data from Facebook. (Donor data syncs after 48 hours.)

3. Donations synced from Facebook now include the URL of the Facebook page where they occurred.

4. You can now report on donations that occurred on Facebook with External Source Id = Facebook.

5. You can now report on fundraisers that have synced their Funraise page with a Facebook page and those that have not with Facebook Fundraiser Id - exists.

We've introduced machine learning technology to mitigate the risk of online transaction fraud. This feature continues the security and scalability of Funraise’s online payment services.

Twitch streamers can connect a peer-to-peer campaign page with a live progress bar and recent donations feed on their Twitch panel.

When exporting a list of Supporters, the .csv file now includes Supporter Tags.

The Streamlabs integration enables streamers to add overlays with live donation notifications, thanking donors in real time.

Households are a family or unit of Supporters with the same address. The primary use case for Households is mailing lists. With Funraise Households, you’ll be able to link donations from each member to see the real impact of a Household.

View and manage Automated Tasks on the Funraise Mobile App. You can now receive push notifications when a Task is created and assigned to you.

Add multiple notes to a Supporter. Notes can also be marked as important.

A new checkbox has been added to Giving Form V2 for a email marketing Opt-in. This checkbox allows a donor to opt-in to receive future marketing communications via email. The goal for this update is help you maintain compliance with GDPR and other user data protections.

A donor will continue to receive transactional emails like the donation receipt email, regardless of their opt-in status.

This field can be mapped to Salesforce.

Fundraisers can now view and take action on every donation to their page with a scrollable list. Fundraisers can access all donations to their page from Settings.

Soft Credit is now an Opportunity Contact Role. This means a few things:

• Soft Credit Contact can now appear on the Opportunity Contact Role list

• On the Contact's Related Opportunity list, Opportunities for which the Contact is assigned as Soft Credit will appear

Registrations records now have an Opportunity lookup field. This allows you to access the Transaction connected to the the Registration.
