📁 Centralized Document Management

Productboard's new documents allow you to manage all your product-related documents, including briefs, research summaries, and more, directly within Productboard. As a new board type, documents can easily be moved between teamspaces and shared with relevant users, promoting collaboration and information sharing. You can also collaborate with other workspace members through concurrent editing of documents, inline comments, mentions, and other capabilities.

🛠️ Improved Text Editor

Our enhanced text editor will provide a straightforward and effective way to format and edit your documents, making it easier to communicate your product ideas and plans to your team.

🚀 Collaborative docs are now available for customers on new boards 🚀

Collaborative docs revolutionize how you create, manage, and share essential documents — from strategic plans and release notes to launch plans — all within one unified space. Insted of going to external tools like Notion, Google Docs, or Confluence, product teams will have one source of truth in Productboard.

💡 With collaborative docs product teams can:

  1. Create product strategy, briefs, discovery docs, release notes, launch plans, or post-release evaluations.

  2. Effectively collaborate on product docs with inline commenting, concurring editor, version history, in-app notifications, or mentions of members and teams

  3. Type '@' to mention entities (eg. features, objectives, key results, initiatives) or boards

  4. Paste links to individual insights to preview valuable customer feedback

  5. Organize content the way they want with notion-like blocks. Turn them into a different block (eg. plain text > toggle)
